About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Drupal Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Drupal 9/10, ensuring high performance, availability, and scalability. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders to deliver impactful digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites, themes, and custom modules
  • Configure and extend Drupal CMS, ensuring alignment with project goals and user experience
  • Work with backend teams to integrate APIs, third-party services, and data layers
  • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and SEO
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Product, QA) in an Agile environment
  • Stay up-to-date with Drupal ecosystem updates, security patches, and best practices
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code and contribute to code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Drupal 8/9/10
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with custom module development, theme creation, and Drupal APIs
  • Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and Twig templating engine
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
  • Understanding of database management (e.g., MySQL or MariaDB)
  • Git proficiency and CI/CD workflow experience
  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with headless Drupal or Decoupled CMS architecture
  • Familiarity with Acquia, Pantheon, or other hosting platforms
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
  • Experience working on multi-language or multi-site Drupal implementations
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO optimization
